BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -Carin Horne scored 23 points and Ali Mann added 22 to lead No. 19 Bowling Green to a 92-62 win over Miami of Ohio on Wednesday night.
The Falcons (26-3, 15-1 Mid-American Conference) took a 37-33 lead at halftime and never trailed. Kate Achter had 13 points, and Liz Honegger and Amber Flynn each scored 11. Horne was 9-of-12 and made 3-of-4 3-pointers, and Mann shot 7-for-11. Horne and Mann also had eight rebounds apiece.
Jenna Schone led the RedHawks (12-17, 6-10) with 19 points, and Amanda Jackson added 17.
Miami trailed by 10 points with 1:28 left in the first half before going on a 6-0 run to narrow the deficit to four by halftime. But Bowling Green regained the 10-point lead at 43-33 in the first minute of the second half, and the RedHawks never got closer than seven the rest of the way.
Bowling Green shot 61 percent (31-of-51) for the game, compared with Miami's 31 percent (20-of-64), and the Falcons outrebounded the RedHawks 38-33.
