ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -Freshman Tahara Williams scored 17 points to lead four Colgate players in double figures, and the eighth-seeded Raiders shocked top-seeded Bucknell 69-62 in a Patriot League tournament quarterfinal on Saturday.

Gretchen Polinski had 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Raiders (6-24), who won their opening-round game for the fourth straight year. Caitlin Gillard scored 12 points and Shevorne Martin added 11.

Bucknell had swept the season series from Colgate, including a 64-32 rout on Feb. 17 in which the Bison scored the first 27 points. But Colgate got off to the hot start Saturday, taking an early 14-2 lead.

The Bison previously earned the top seed in the Patriot League tournament in 1996 and also lost their opening game to the Raiders.

Laura Schober scored 17 points, and Jacquie Seawright had 16 for Bucknell (20-10), which rallied from that early 12-point deficit and led 44-35 with 14:03 left in the game.

Colgate responded with a 14-1 run to get the lead back, and there were three ties and four lead changes down the stretch before Williams hit a 3-pointer to put the Raiders ahead 65-61 with 2 minutes left. Colgate made four of five free-throw attempts to finish off the upset.

The Raiders will play the winner of Saturday's quarterfinal between fifth-seeded Navy and fourth-seeded American.
