CHICAGO (AP) -Nicole Soulis had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead No. 21 Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 58-45 win over Illinois-Chicago on Saturday night.
The Phoenix (25-3, 16-0) became the first Horizon League team to finish a season unbeaten in conference play since Notre Dame went 16-0 in 1989-90.
Kayla Groh and Natalie Berglin scored 11 points apiece for Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Amanda Popp added 10. Erin Templin had eight rebounds for the Phoenix, who outrebounded UIC 45-38.
Jacquay Holmes, Krystal Hugelier and Jessie Miller had eight points apiece to lead the Flames (18-11, 11-5).
Wisconsin-Green Bay started slowly, but led 22-19 at halftime after shooting 28 percent from the floor.
The Phoenix gained momentum at 8:18 of the second half when Soulis made a layup to put UW-Green Bay ahead 45-38. After a timeout, Berglin made back-to-back 3s to spark the Phoenix on a 15-2 that sealed the contest.
Illinois-Chicago shot 32 percent for the game, while the Phoenix finished at 34.4 percent.
