MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) -Candyce Bingham scored 20 points and Angel McCoughtry added 19 to lead No. 21 Louisville over Ball State 81-62 on Saturday.

Brandie Radde had 16 points and Chauntise Wright 15 for Louisville, which jumped out to a 24-11 lead. But Ball State (0-1) rallied to it at 36 with 1:50 left in the half and took the lead before halftime, 39-36.

A layup by Bingham with 14:23 left made it 48-46 and put Louisville (1-0) up for good.

Ball State made just 29 percent of its field-goal attempts and 33 percent of its 3-pointers in the second half. Louisville shot nearly 56 percent and made 36 percent of its 3-point shots.

Audrey McDonald scored 19 to lead Ball State, while Porchia Green had 14 and Lisa Rusche had 13. Julie Demuth finished with 10.
