BOSTON (AP) - Marscilla Packer scored 24 points and Jantel Lavender added 21 to help No. 16 Ohio State beat Boston University 83-68 on Saturday.

Star Allen had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Buckeyes (3-0).

Cheri Raffo scored a career-high 23 points and Jesyka Burks-Wiley added 16 for the Terriers (2-1).

Leading 61-60 with just under 8 minutes left, the Buckeyes went on a 22-8 run to close the game and seal the victory.

Ohio State led 37-33 at the half, and extended that lead to nine points before Boston U. rallied to 61-60 on Amarac Umez-Eronini.
