CANCUN, Mexico (AP) - Brittany Lindsey scored 16 points and Tulane came back from a 15-point deficit in the first half to beat Kansas State 60-57 in the second game of the Caribbean Challenge on Wednesday.

Megan Valicevic added 11 points for the Green Wave (4-1), who will play Northern Illinois on Thursday. The Huskies lost 67-40 to Michigan State earlier Wednesday.

Kimberly Dietz scored 14 points and Ashley Sweat had 13 points and six rebounds for the Wildcats (2-2), who lost their second straight.

Kansas State started strong and took a 24-9 lead six minutes into the game on an easy layup by Jackie Stanley.

But Tulane came back, dominating the offensive glass and ending the first half on a 13-0 run to take a 32-28 lead after the first 20 minutes.

In the second half both teams exchanged leads three times, but Lindsay scored six points in the final three minutes to seal the win for Tulane.

The Wildcats had a couple of chances to tie it at the end, but Shalee Lehning missed two key free throws with nine seconds to play. After Nikki Kuckhurst made a free throw for Tulane, Dietz missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Kansas State will play Michigan State on Thursday.
