TCU 97, No. 20 Oklahoma St. 63

12/18/2007 9:28 PM

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -Lori Butler-Rayford had 30 points and 15 rebounds to lead TCU to a 97-63 victory over No. 20 Oklahoma State on Tuesday, the Cowgirls' first loss of the season.

Butler-Rayford was almost perfect in the game, going 13-of-15 from the field and making all three of her free throws.

Helena Sverrisdottir scored 17 points and Adrianne Ross added 11 for TCU (5-6).

Shaunte' Smith led Oklahoma State (7-1) with 16 points and Danielle Green added 12.

Butler-Rayford scored seven straight points over a span of 68 seconds in the first half.

With the score tied at 12, Ross made a steal and passed to Butler-Rayford for a fastbreak layup. Butler-Rayford then rebounded an Oklahoma State miss and scored on a layup and then got another pass from Ross and hit a 3-pointer.

After Oklahoma State tied the game at 39 with 1:57 left on a jumper by Alex Richardson, Butler-Rayford responded with a jumper to start a 7-0 run that gave the Lady Frogs a 46-39 halftime lead.

TCU pulled away steadily in the second half.
