PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Amy Wold scored 17 points, Sarah Acker had 16 and Saint Joseph's upset No. 15 Auburn 71-69 in the championship game of the Hilton Philadelphia Hawk Classic on Saturday.

Jenna Loschiavo added 11 for the Hawks (7-6). It was their first victory over ranked opponent since March 4, when they beat No. 8 George Washington 57-55 in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 conference tournament.

Saint Joseph's had lost its two previous games this season to ranked opponents, falling to No. 5 Rutgers and No. 21 Wyoming.

DeWanna Bonner scored 30 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds for Auburn (12-2), which lost a three-game winning streak. It was Bonner's sixth double-double this season. Alli Smalley added 13 points, Sherell Hobbs had 12 and Jordan Greenleaf grabbed 10 rebounds.

After Loschiavo's third 3-pointer gave the Hawks a 64-44 lead with 9:59 left, Auburn went on a 15-0 run to get within 60-59 with 4:59 remaining.

Saint Joseph's responded and rebuilt a seven-point lead, 70-63, with 1:11 left on a layup by Acker as the shot clock expired. Bonner and Smalley each hit 3-pointers to pull Auburn within 71-69 with 15.8 seconds to go.

The Tigers stayed alive when Timisha Gomez and Wold each missed the front end of a 1-and-1 free throw opportunity. Smalley had a chance to tie the game, but bounced the ball off her foot and out of bounds with 2 seconds left. When Wold couldn't inbound the ball, she was whistled for a five-second violation, giving the Tigers one final chance. Hobbs misfired on a 3-pointer at the buzzer and the Hawks celebrated at midcourt.

The Hawks hit 10 of 15 3-pointers. Auburn made just 5 of 17.

Saint Joseph's jumped out to a 41-29 lead at halftime thanks to some hot shooting. The Hawks connected on 17 of 30 shots from the field (57 percent), including 5 of 9 from 3-point range.

Meanwhile, Auburn hit just 11-of-33 (33 percent) and 1-of-7 3-pointers. After the Tigers got within 34-27 on a pair of free throws by Bonner with 2:05 remaining, the Hawks responded with a 7-2 spurt to close out the half with a 12-point advantage.
