AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -Shalee Lehning scored 21 points to lead Kansas State to a 77-74 overtime upset of No. 15 Texas in the Longhorns' Big 12 home opener on Sunday.

Lehning fouled out with 1:24 remaining in the overtime period, but Kimberly Dietz made two free throws with 3 seconds left to seal the win. Brittainey Raven, who had 14 points, missed a desperation 3-pointer for the Longhorns.

Ashley Sweat scored 20 points, Marlies Gipson had 16 and Dietz added 15 for the Wildcats (10-5, 2-0 Big 12).

Ashley Lindsey led Texas (12-4, 0-2) with 15 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Erneisha Bailey had 12 points and Kathleen Nash added 10.

Kansas State took a 62-61 advantage, its first lead of the game, with just over 6 minutes remaining on two free throws by Sweat. The Wildcats led 75-71 with a minute left before Carla Cortijo made a layup and free throw to bring Texas within 75-74.

The Longhorns took a 12-0 lead, but it wasn't enough to contain the Wildcats.

Cortijo was limited to 18 minutes of play after sustaining a left shoulder last week.
