NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Christina Wirth scored 16 points, Hannah Tuomi added 14 points and Vanderbilt beat No. 12 Georgia 67-59 on Thursday night.

Tasha Humphrey and Megan Darrah had 17 points apiece for the Lady Bulldogs ( 14-3, 1-2), who had 20 turnovers.

It took Georgia more than nine minutes to get their first points against Vanderbilt. By then, the Commodores had built a 16-0 lead.

Vanderbilt went ahead 38-21 at the half.
