MILWAUKEE (AP) -Krystal Ellis scored 11 of her 16 points in the second half and Marquette beat No. 23 DePaul 65-56 on Saturday.
Angel Robinson added 13 points for the Golden Eagles (10-7, 2-2 Big East), who forced 24 turnovers.
Allie Quigley had 16 points and seven rebounds for DePaul (13-4, 2-2), which was held to a season-low for points. The Blue Demons scored just two points in the final 2:49 and shot 10-for-31 (32 percent) in the second half.
DePaul was averaging 83.3 points heading into the game, third in the nation.
A free throw by Tatiyiana McMorris gave Marquette its biggest lead of the game, 58-46, with 6:20 left.
DePaul cut it to 60-54 on a basket by Natasha Williams with 2:50 remaining, but the only other points the Blue Demons got the rest of the game were two free throws by Deirdre Naughton with 1:02 to play.
Marquette led 29-25 at halftime.
DePaul outrebounded the Golden Eagles 46-39 but shot just 34.9 percent for the game.
Williams finished with 12 points and nine rebounds for the Blue Demons.
Marquette shot 33.9 percent.
