LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -Sarah Elliott scored 14 points to lead four Kentucky players in double-figures and the Wildcats beat No. 21 Auburn 62-55 on Sunday.

Amani Franklin scored 13 points, Samantha Mahoney added 12 and Amber Smith had 11 points and four assists for Kentucky (9-9, 3-1 Southeastern Conference), which bounced back from a loss to No. 2 Tennessee on Thursday night.

Kentucky took the lead for good on a pair of free throws by Chelsea Chowning with 1:13 remaining. The Tigers then missed three straight shots. Chowning hit another free throw to push the lead to 58-55. The Wildcats then made four free throws in the final 26 seconds to seal it.

Sherell Hobbs led Auburn (13-5, 1-2) with 16 points and seven rebounds. Alli Smalley added 13 points and three assists for the Tigers, who have lost four of five.

Kentucky held Auburn to 35 percent shooting and outrebounded the Tigers 44-34 to help overcome 21 turnovers. The Wildcats shot just 37 percent from the field, but made 20-of-24 free-throws.
