AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -Brittainey Raven scored 19 points to lead Texas to a 70-63 upset of No. 14 Oklahoma State on Wednesday night, snapping the Cowgirls' eight-game winning streak.

Texas forward Ashley Lindsey had 11 points and five rebounds for the Longhorns (14-5, 2-3 Big 12). Point guard Carla Cortijo had 11 points and five assists in the win.

The lead changed eight times during a back-and-forth first 10 minutes. The Longhorns took control after that outscoring Oklahoma State 21-9 in the final 8:51 of the first half, taking a 38-26 lead into halftime.

But the Cowgirls (16-2, 4-1) came out strong in the second half.

Taylor Hardeman nailed two 3-pointers in the first three minutes of the half to help the Cowgirls pull within five points. Hardeman finished with a team-high 18 points - all from 3-point territory. Raven took over, scoring 12 points in the second half.

The Cowgirls made it a bit interesting at the end as Hardeman and Maria Cordero hit a pair of 3-pointers from the corner to make it 66-61 with just 43 seconds remaining. The Longhorns held on as Cortijo hit four free throws to seal the win.

Oklahoma State's Andrea Riley and Danielle Green did all they could to keep the Cowgirls in the game, scoring the team's first 17 points. Riley finished with 15 points and five assists but was limited to just four points in the second half.

Green finished with 14 points and six rebounds.
