MADISON, Wis. (AP) -Marscilla Packer scored 23 points, Jantel Lavender added 22 and No. 19 Ohio State beat Wisconsin 80-77 Sunday.

Buckeyes guard Shavelle Little made two free throws with 18.8 seconds left, and Wisconsin's Jolene Anderson, the Big Ten Conference's leading scorer, missed two 3-point attempts in the final five seconds.

The upset-minded Badgers (11-11, 4-8 Big Ten) led for nearly the entire first half and much of the second, before Ohio State (18-6, 9-4) rattled off a 25-6 run to take a 56-50 lead.

Packer, who was 4-of-7 from 3-point range, scored 16 points in the second half, including a four-point play to kick off the Buckeyes' extended run.

Wisconsin fought back behind Anderson, who scored 20 points but missed all six of her 3-point attempts. The senior guard was 5-of-17 overall from the floor, but made 10 of 11 free throw attempts.

Both teams excelled at the foul line. Wisconsin was 25-of-29 from the stripe, while Ohio State shot 19-of-22.

The Badgers pulled within a point with 19.5 seconds left after a wild sequence that ended with Danielle Ward scoring on Wisconsin's sixth shot of the possession.

The Badgers immediately fouled Little, a 47 percent free throw shooter, who calmly made both shots at the other end.

Wisconsin worked the ball to Anderson, whose forced 3 from the left wing was off the mark. Badgers guard Alyssa Karel secured the rebound and fed Anderson again, but another 3-pointer from the same spot hit off the side of the rim as time expired.

Janese Banks led Wisconsin with 22 points and nine rebounds, but only scored four points in the second half as she sat out several minutes in foul trouble.

Tamarah Riley added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Buckeyes.
