SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) -Freshman Erica Morrow scored 23 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead No. 21 Syracuse to an 81-72 win over pesky Seton Hall on Wednesday night.

Fantasia Goodwin added 20 points and Chandrea Jones had 13 for Syracuse (19-4, 7-3 Big East), which handed the Pirates their fifth-straight loss and are off to their best start in school history. The 19 wins are the most since 1987-88.

Tasha Harris dished out 11 assists. Morrow also had five steals, was 5-for-10 from the field, and 8-for-9 from the foul line. The Orange finished 20 of 22 (90.9 percent).

Jadis Rhodin scored 22 of her season-high 25 points in the second half to lead Seton Hall (13-10, 3-8).

The Orange led 30-28 at halftime after going seven minutes without a basket and trailing 15-2 early in the first half.

It was the fourth-consecutive loss to a ranked conference opponent for Seton Hall.

Morrow scored nine points during an 11-0 run that gave Syracuse the lead for good.
