FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -Jessica Mooney scored 14 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead No. 25 Vanderbilt over Arkansas 63-50 on Thursday night.

Despite 18 turnovers, the Commodores (20-7, 9-3 Southeastern Conference) shot 8-for-12 on 3-pointers to maintain their lead and ultimately pull away late in the second half.

Besides Mooney, three other players scored in double digits for Vanderbilt. Jennifer Risper finished with 12 points while Liz Sherwood and Christina Wirth scored 10 each.

The loss for Arkansas (19-9, 2-9) was its fifth straight since beating Mississippi State on Jan. 27.

Vanderbilt jumped out to an early advantage in the first half after getting three 3-pointers from Merideth Marsh and Mooney, building a 16-10 lead.

But Arkansas responded in the last 6 minutes of the first half by hitting jump shots on nearly all its offensive possessions to cut Vanderbilt's lead to one at the break, 26-25.

Arkansas shot only 9-for-26 (35 percent) from the floor in the second half and got outrebounded 22-9 as the Commodores moved out to their 13-point win.

Whitney Jones scored 13 points and Sarah Pfeifer had 11 to lead Arkansas.
