SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -Chandrea Jones had 18 points and 11 rebounds to help No. 22 Syracuse beat Cincinnati 66-56 on Saturday.
Erica Morrow added 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Syracuse (20-6, 8-5 Big East). Fantasia Goodwin scored 13 and Nicole Michael had 11.
Cincinnati (11-15, 2-12) opened the game with a 15-3 run and led 34-32 at halftime. Syracuse started the second half with a 15-4 run of its own to take a 47-38 lead.
Cincinnati needed nearly 7 minutes to score its first field goal in the second half, a layup by Carla Jacobs.
Kahla Roudebush had 17 points for the Bearcats, who have lost three straight and 11 of their last 12 games. Jacobs and Tenishia Benson scored 11 apiece, and Jill Stephens had 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Jacobs made two free throws with 7:41 left to cut it to 51-49, but Morrow hit a 3-pointer to spark a 12-2 run for Syracuse. Goodwin's jumper with 2:26 to go made it 63-51.
