LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) -Courtney Paris knew at halftime she needed to rev her game up if No. 10 Oklahoma was going to mount a comeback against Texas Tech.

She did that and more in the second half to help lead the Sooners to a 65-55 victory over the Lady Raiders on Wednesday night.

``I wasn't pulling my weight on the inside so I knew I needed to do something,'' said Paris, who finished with 19 points and 22 rebounds after a first half that lacked her usual tenacity around the boards. ``I take a lot of responsibility for it because I'm one of our best rebounders.''

Danielle Robinson also scored 19 points.

Paris extended her double-double streak to 87 games.

She struggled in the first half - getting only four rebounds and seven points but with her team down, Paris came out and scored the Sooners first seven points. Robinson picked up from there, scoring eight of OU's next 12 points, including a basket to tie it at 48.

Jenna Plumley hit her third 3 to put OU up for good at 51-50 at the 7:44 mark.

The comeback by Oklahoma (21-5, 11-3 Big 12) included a 14-4 run for a 60-52 lead with 4 minutes remaining.

OU coach Sherri Coale said her team again played a one-half game, something she's seen throughout the season. Wednesday night it was the second half.

``The halftime speaker gets way too much credit for what happens in the second half,'' she said. ``It is simply a decision that our guys make. For whatever reason we have seemed to do our best when our back is square against the wall.''

Tech (16-12, 4-10) was held to two field goals in the final 11 minutes of the game and hit on only nine of 17 free throws.

``We had ourselves in the game with a chance to win it, if we make our free throws,'' Tech coach Kristy Curry said.

The Sooners, who last month beat Tech 78-39 to hand the Lady Raiders their worst loss since 1990, have now won 10 of their last 11 games.

Coale said her team needs intensity, an elusive thing to display but paramount.

``It sounds so trite, so simple, so trite,'' she said. ``It might like a cliche but it's true.''

Jordan Murphree scored 18 points and Maria Moore added 12 to lead the Lady Raiders.
