AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -Jessica Mooney and Merideth Marsh each scored 19 points to lead No. 23 Vanderbilt to a 73-56 win against Auburn on Thursday night.

Mooney had 13 points in a 20-3 Vanderbilt run midway through the first half. The Commodores (21-7, 10-3 Southeastern Conference) never looked back.

Dewanna Bonner led Auburn with 19 points and 10 rebounds while going 11-of-12 from the free-throw line.

After taking a 42-26 halftime lead, the Commodores continued to shoot well and finished 10-of-20 from the 3-point line while Auburn (18-10, 6-7 SEC) made 3 of 14.

The Commodores' bench outscored Auburn's shorthanded bench 30-5. With Trevesha Jackson out with a mild concussion after a loss against Georgia Feb. 24 and a few academic suspensions, Auburn only had four players available off the bench, three of whom played against the Commodores.

Sherrell Hobbs finished with 18 points and five rebounds for the Tigers while Cassie Moore added five points and a career-high 12 rebounds off the bench.

For Vanderbilt, Jennifer Risper had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four assists and Mooney led the Commodores with six assists.
