NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Meredith Marsh and Ashlee Bridge each scored 16 points to lead No. 23 Vanderbilt to a 83-54 win over Alabama on Sunday.

A total of 12 players scored for the Commodores (22-7, 11-3 Southeastern Conference), who honored the team's lone senior, Liz Sherwood.

Sherwood, who transferred to Vanderbilt from Connecticut, finished with seven points and grabbed four rebounds in her final game at Memorial Gym.

The Commodores led Alabama (8-21, 1-13) 54-21 at the half after shooting 67 percent from the field. They finished hitting 53 percent for the game.

Bridge's 16 points were a career high and Jessica Mooney added 11 for Vanderbilt.

Alabama was led by Tierney Jenkins' 15 points as the Crimson Tide lost their 13th game in a row.

The 11 SEC wins is a new Vanderbilt record. It was also the Commodores' sixth win in a row against Alabama.
